Description

  • Work with customers to analyze and understand business requirements.
  • Design conversational applications in line with usability principles and business requirements.
  • Develop hybrid Conversational AI applications that combine agentic and rule-based capabilities.
  • Implement and test semantic models and conversation flows using rule-based, ML-based, and GenAI-based tools on Omilia’s Cloud Platform.
  • Prepare, augment, and annotate datasets for ML and agentic training.
  • Develop semantic rules using dictionaries and regular expressions, manage RAG knowledge base configuration, and perform prompt engineering.
  • Use JavaScript to implement application logic and integrate applications with client systems via REST web services.
  • Perform test-driven development, unit testing, and regression testing.
  • Analyze real-world human-system dialogs to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues with customers and team members, and support partners and customers during day-2 operations.

Requirements

  • Academic degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent English and Spanish.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and an engineering mindset.
  • Basic programming knowledge.
  • Interest in or familiarity with Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG.
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking with sharp attention to detail.
  • Well-organized and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Able to work within demanding deadlines.
  • Experience with conversational automated dialog systems, voice or chat-based, is preferred.
  • Experience with production-level NLU/NLP solutions is preferred.
  • Experience with GenAI/LLM technologies such as prompt engineering or RAG is preferred.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks or autonomous agent concepts is preferred.
  • Experience with JavaScript and/or object-oriented programming such as Java is preferred.
  • Experience consuming external systems such as web services and REST APIs is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud contact center platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD processes is preferred.
  • Knowledge of bash scripting for automating SDLC internal tasks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of French and/or German is preferred.
