Description

  • Own competitive positioning, customer proof points, and platform messaging across the go-to-market motion.
  • Write displacement playbooks and build competitive intelligence briefs from ongoing market monitoring.
  • Create sales enablement content including battle cards, objection handling, ROI models, and demo scripts.
  • Develop customer case studies, reference programs, and other proof-point assets with enterprise customers.
  • Produce analyst-ready materials and support briefings with Gartner, Forrester, and other industry analysts.
  • Create operationalization guides and maturity models that help customers succeed after purchase.
  • Support pricing and packaging work as the platform evolves.
  • Develop product and platform launch messaging and go-to-market materials.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, analysts, and internal stakeholders as the senior IC product marketing owner.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of B2B product marketing experience, ideally in cybersecurity, identity, or enterprise infrastructure.
  • Strong AI-native workflow using tools such as Claude, GPT, and AI research tools to accelerate research and drafting.
  • Proven ability to work hands-on without agency, contractor, or junior team support.
  • Experience building competitive displacement programs that targeted specific vendor install bases and drove pipeline.
  • Deep comfort with technical products, including reading architecture diagrams and understanding API integrations.
  • Ability to translate technical differentiation into clear business value and credible content for security practitioners.
  • Experience building customer proof programs, including case studies, reference customers, joint conference appearances, and customer advisory boards.
  • Experience working directly with analysts such as Gartner and Forrester.
  • Strong writing skills for clear, technical, credible marketing content.
  • Preferred experience in identity governance (IGA), identity security, or IAM markets.
  • Preferred experience marketing platforms rather than point solutions.
  • Preferred background at a company that displaced an entrenched incumbent.
  • Preferred familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and CISO buyer personas.
  • Preferred experience rebuilding or standing up a product marketing function from scratch at a Series A/B company.
  • Willingness to travel periodically, including to the Bellevue, WA HQ.
