Description

  • Provide hands-on implementation, deployment, and consulting services for customers in a post-sales environment.
  • Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements after the sale.
  • Communicate technical and functional information clearly to customers and partners.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, status, documentation, and multiple concurrent deployment projects.
  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot Okta and Auth0 solutions for customer integrations.
  • Mentor and train customers on the service and solution usage.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, product management, engineering, and support to resolve escalations and influence product development.
  • Collaborate with sales teams on up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.
  • Apply knowledge of identity federation, access control, cloud architectures, and enterprise IT environments to customer work.
  • Improve delivery processes and methods through knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a technical consultant delivering solutions to external customers.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with JavaScript and a major JavaScript MVC framework such as Backbone, Angular, Ember, React, or Node.
  • Experience with identity federation and access control protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, and WS-Federation.
  • Experience designing and implementing security and identity management solutions for critical systems and business programs.
  • Knowledge of enterprise web technologies, security, and modern infrastructure.
  • Understanding of enterprise identity lifecycle management processes and standards.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally while remaining a hands-on contributor.
  • Strong communication skills, including issue tracking, triaging, crisis management, and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Preferred: non-JavaScript software development experience in Java, .Net, Go, C#, Flutter, or PHP.
  • Preferred: experience delivering Auth0 implementations for organizations.
  • Preferred: experience with the Node.js runtime environment.
  • Preferred: mobile development experience for iOS and Android.
  • Willingness to travel 25% to customer sites.

  • Annual OTE of $142,000-$194,700 USD for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Annual OTE of $126,000-$173,800 USD for candidates in California outside the Bay Area, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington.
