Description

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using work breakdown structures (WBS) and Gantt charts.
  • Track progress on capital and revenue projects and coordinate updates to milestones and deliverables.
  • Provide regular status reports to leadership, including risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication among project teams, vendors, stakeholders, and leadership to align expectations.
  • Communicate schedule changes promptly and assess impacts to the critical path and project delivery.
  • Work with finance to monitor budgets, track expenditures, and forecast project financial needs.
  • Use ERP systems to manage project financial data and support accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance teams to define and document deliverable acceptance criteria.
  • Compile and organize project documentation to support knowledge transfer and future planning.
  • Lead project closeout activities and capture lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project planning.
  • Experience planning large capital projects valued at $10+ million.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, SmartSheets, or similar project management software.
  • PMP or PMI-SP certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP preferred.
  • Experience with energy infrastructure projects, including design, construction, or commissioning, preferred.
  • Experience working at startups preferred.
  • Experience in technical or industrial project management environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly iterative startup environment.
  • Must be a U.S. person under applicable export control laws.
