Description

  • Facilitate online learning activities that engage and retain students.
  • Mark assessments and provide constructive, meaningful feedback.
  • Support student communication through discussion boards, emails, and live sessions.
  • Maintain visibility and responsiveness to students within 24-48 hours during the teaching period.
  • Collaborate with academic teams to maintain unit quality.
  • Uphold OES values and contribute to a positive team culture and student experience.
  • Support students through their learning journey and help them achieve their goals.
  • Work across specified Analytics and Managerial Analytics units as a sessional online educator.

Requirements

  • Minimum postgraduate degree in Business Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a similar field.
  • 5+ years of practical industry experience working with data.
  • Experience or knowledge in data governance, stakeholder engagement, project-based work, and applied agile principles.
  • Comfort facilitating specified units in Analytics and Managerial Analytics, including LEO5310, LEO5311, LEO5312, LEO5301, LEO5302, LEO5303, and LEO5304.
  • Ability to work sessional part-time, 8 hours per week, with flexibility for increased hours during assessment and marking periods.
  • Must be located in Australia.
  • Experience teaching or studying in an online environment (desirable).
  • Previous teaching or mentoring experience (desirable).
  • Comfortable navigating online learning platforms.
  • Student-focused, organised, proactive, and confident with technology.
