Description

  • Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor.
  • Deliver live lessons via web conference and support asynchronous instruction.
  • Set up courses in the Learning Management System.
  • Monitor student progress, grade assignments, and provide daily feedback.
  • Track and maintain regular contact with each student.
  • Collaborate with the principal to create and deliver student progress reports.
  • Review student data frequently and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
  • Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Plan and support non-instructional activities, including social events, field trips, and state testing travel.

Requirements

  • Current state teaching license in the appropriate content area.
  • Knowledge of state standards and Common Core Standards.
  • Preferred: 2 years of teaching experience.
  • Comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to properly manage confidential information.
  • Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time.
  • Ability to supervise students in all school settings.
  • Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
  • Preferred: experience working in a multicultural setting.
  • Eligibility limited to residents of Wyoming and Arizona.
  • Travel and in-person attendance required several times per year for state testing and student events.
