Description

  • Lead the design, development, and scaling of Novara’s Agentic AI Platform.
  • Build complex agentic state machines and stateful graphs for autonomous decision-making and self-correcting workflows.
  • Create database-driven registries to dynamically load agent definitions, prompts, and workflows at runtime.
  • Develop intent-based routing that sends user requests to deterministic execution or semantic retrieval paths.
  • Design and maintain production RAG systems across unstructured and structured data sources.
  • Build serverless ingestion pipelines to parse documents and prepare them for indexing and retrieval.
  • Implement automated PII redaction before data is indexed into search systems.
  • Create MCP servers that expose legacy APIs, databases, schemas, and actions as AI-accessible tools.
  • Implement security guardrails including token pass-through, RBAC, tenant isolation, and human-in-the-loop approval flows.
  • Design backend-generated widget schemas for dynamic UI rendering in the frontend.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years building and scaling production-grade AI features in a cloud-native SaaS environment.
  • Strong academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or another highly quantitative field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Expert-level Python experience; strong TypeScript/JavaScript experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on production experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, or equivalent AI frameworks.
  • Production experience with AWS services including Amazon Bedrock, ECS Fargate, S3, SQS, EventBridge, KMS, Lambda, Amazon Comprehend, and IAM.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL/pgVector, Amazon OpenSearch Serverless, and SQLAlchemy.
  • Experience with Pandas, NumPy, PyPDF, and Layout-OCR engines for document and data processing.
  • Experience working with REST, Server-Sent Events (SSE), Webhooks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Strong experience designing secure AWS architectures using least-privilege IAM roles, SigV4 API signing, and KMS envelope encryption.
  • Experience indexing and searching datasets at million-chunk scale, including Direct Bulk Indexing APIs.
  • Understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT pass-through, and multi-tenant data isolation patterns.
  • Ability to write clean, unit-tested, well-documented Python code with graceful degradation and self-correction patterns.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in an agile team environment.
  • Experience training and serving classical ML models for behavioral baselining, anomaly detection, or predictive risk scoring is preferred.
  • Experience developing React-based micro-frontends or canvas-style Generative UI layouts is preferred.
  • Open-source contributions to the MCP ecosystem are preferred.
  • Background in EHS or ESG software systems is preferred.
  • AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is preferred.
