Description

  • Write performant, testable, scalable, and secure client code.
  • Design and implement scalable AI and agentic workflows using LLMs with reliability and observability in mind.
  • Own technical features and projects from design through successful production launch.
  • Identify, prioritize, and remediate technical debt to improve stability, performance, and developer velocity.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Gather requirements, validate understanding across the team, and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure code security through Software Composition Analysis (SCA) and remediation workflows.
  • Provide status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Work within the team’s development methodology and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in software engineering with a primary focus on Python and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to own technical features from design through production deployment with minimal supervision.
  • Deep understanding of system design and architecture, with the ability to solve ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Expertise with Git source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Expertise with Python package management tools such as UV or Conda.
  • Experience with unit testing using Pytest.
  • Experience with Docker containers and orchestration using Kubernetes and AKS.
  • Intermediate design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Experience engineering medium-to-large software systems of significant scope and complexity.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency with relational databases.
  • Experience building frontend/backend applications at scale.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Flask (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Snowflake (preferred).
  • Experience with agentic frameworks such as MCP or A2A (preferred).
  • Knowledge of workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or Automic Automation (preferred).
  • Knowledge of HTTP and serialization formats such as JSON and XML (preferred).
  • Knowledge of SCA platforms such as GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk, or Checkmarx (preferred).
  • Understanding of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor (preferred).
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) (preferred).
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts (preferred).
