Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript for end-to-end, functional, and regression testing.
  • Define and own test strategies, test plans, and automation coverage frameworks for assigned programs and workstreams.
  • Execute and oversee manual testing for complex scenarios that require human judgment beyond automation.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Write Python scripts to support automation tooling, data setup, and test utilities.
  • Lead code reviews for automation scripts and uphold quality engineering standards.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers on automation patterns, test design, and debugging techniques.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to improve testability and support shift-left quality initiatives.
  • Proactively identify quality risks, communicate blockers, and drive resolution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in test automation, framework design, and team leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Playwright with TypeScript for browser automation and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript for automation scripting.
  • Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Advanced English level required for working with US clients.
