Description

  • Define and develop continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Build infrastructure as code to support delivery and operations.
  • Coordinate build and release activities with other stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of release pipelines, build tools, and source control resources.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to downtime, performance degradation, and external attacks.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance and upgrades of DevOps systems in production and non-production environments.
  • Identify, research, and prototype new technologies to improve DevOps processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a contributor on a software development team.
  • Experience working with distributed source control systems, preferably GitHub or BitBucket.
  • Experience writing scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or PowerShell.
  • Deep knowledge in one or more of the following areas: database administration, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking administration, VoIP administration, or operating systems.
  • Experience with Artifactory is preferred.
  • Experience with release pipeline tools such as Concourse, Thoughtworks Go, Octopus, Hive, ElectricFlow, or Xebialabs is preferred.
  • Call center and telecom experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI automation tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, Bamboo, or TFS Build is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Docker containers and Docker-based microservices is preferred.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or CloudFormation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Amazon AWS services is preferred.
