Description

  • Interface with end users and key stakeholders to gather system requirements for applications.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and support the rollout of new features and modules.
  • Configure application UI, workflows, and business logic.
  • Build integrations between ServiceNow and other applications using REST/SOAP web services.
  • Guide customers in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work with technical SMEs to gather environment information for service map and event work.
  • Define and validate impact assessment rules within service maps.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for maps, impact rules, and event management work.
  • Promote update sets and data across ServiceNow environments.
  • Remediate production incidents related to the supported scope.
  • Maintain operational documentation and SOPs to reduce support risk and inefficiency.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of ServiceNow.
  • Strong experience with Platform, Catalog, and Custom applications.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems/platforms using MID Servers and cloud-to-cloud methods.
  • Experience with web services integration, including SOAP and REST, and bi-directional automated integrations.
  • Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC, or ETL integrations.
  • Proven experience implementing ServiceNow SecOps, Platform, Service Catalog, Custom applications, and workflows.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes.
  • Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation.
  • A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Willingness to continue education within the ServiceNow platform and complete competency certifications and module accreditations.
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, and ServiceNow CAD.
