Description

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large cross-functional technical programs aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Drive technical projects from ideation through delivery, including schedule management and removal of roadblocks.
  • Define, operationalize, and track program metrics and key performance indicators to measure progress and resolve issues.
  • Create and improve processes that increase organizational effectiveness and support business goals.
  • Coordinate communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple stakeholders and teams with competing priorities.
  • Identify top risks, drive mitigation efforts, and align leadership on acceptable levels of risk.
  • Facilitate productive meetings across small and large groups.
  • Support Security and Identity initiatives, including customer IAM adoption, security compliance, sensitive data protection, and vulnerability management trends.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working on a software development team as a TPM or engineering manager.
  • 6+ years of project and program management experience.
  • 6+ years delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility, and often ambiguous environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience driving enterprise security and/or compliance programs (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of authentication protocols, API security, and cloud architecture (preferred).
  • Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs with technical constraints (preferred).
  • Ability to drive programs in significant ambiguity and facilitate definition and clarity (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating with senior leadership (preferred).
  • Experience working with remote and distributed teams, and prior experience with high-growth companies (preferred).
  • Good understanding of the New Relic platform and its capabilities (preferred).
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
