Description

  • Design the operating model for three university innovation hubs, including cohort structure, learning sequence, assessment, and certification.
  • Own senior relationships with vice-chancellors, deans, faculty leads, and student bodies at OAU, UNN, and ABU.
  • Create and execute the engagement model that attracts and retains students from all faculties across each university.
  • Build and manage the industry and mentorship pipeline of engineers, product leaders, and founders who mentor, assess, and hire from the hubs.
  • Design the facilitator model, recruit facilitators, and maintain a consistent quality standard across all three hubs.
  • Own the physical footprint, timelines, vendor relationships, and hub-level budgets across three sites.
  • Define the staffing model for each hub and recruit the on-ground teams that operate the hubs day to day.
  • Set and monitor programme outcomes, including graduate output, job placement, completion, cohort quality, and employer satisfaction.
  • Design the pathway between hub graduates and Moniepoint Academy and other internal talent programmes.
  • Document the model and prepare it for future expansion if needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles owning programmes, teams, and budgets end to end.
  • Experience building or leading a technical training or workforce development programme at scale, ideally across multiple sites.
  • Proven ability to take a programme from zero to one, including designing the model, hiring the team, and maintaining standards.
  • Experience managing senior institutional relationships with universities, government bodies, and industry partners.
  • Ability to navigate Nigerian university administration, or equivalent experience in another context that can translate to Nigeria.
  • Experience hiring and managing technical educators and distinguishing strong teaching talent from average facilitators.
  • Technical fluency to understand what good engineering education looks like and what employers hire for in software, AI, product, and data science.
  • Strong focus on measurable outcomes and accountability for programme results.
  • Experience in edtech, developer education, university-industry partnerships, or workforce development is a strong advantage.
  • Experience building something from scratch and owning it through to measurable outcomes is essential.
