Description

Lead daily operations of the global billing team and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual billing cycles are completed accurately.
Manage consumption-based billing processes and maintain data integrity between product telemetry and financial systems.
Identify billing workflow bottlenecks and implement automation to reduce manual work.
Partner with Sales, Legal, Customer Success, and Deal Desk to resolve complex contract billing setups, amendments, and disputes.
Maintain internal controls for the billing process and support external audit requests.
Work with Business Applications teams to enhance and troubleshoot the billing technology stack, including Billing Platform, NetSuite, and Salesforce.
Establish and standardize the credit lifecycle and global billing playbooks to reduce operational friction and revenue leakage.
Collaborate with technical teams to identify manual reconciliation work and deploy RPA solutions.
Help reduce the financial close cycle in a high-pressure month-end environment.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Billing or Revenue Operations.
At least 3 years of leadership or management experience in a SaaS environment.
Deep understanding of SaaS, consumption-based billing, and deferred revenue concepts.
High proficiency with Billing Platform or similar billing engines such as Zuora, along with Salesforce and NetSuite.
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets to identify billing errors.
Ability to explain complex billing logic clearly and empathetically to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience transitioning a company from fixed-subscription to consumption-based billing is preferred.
Experience in a high-volume environment handling 10,000+ invoices per month is preferred.
