Description

  • Own a territory and drive acquisition of new enterprise accounts.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across target accounts to maximize new business.
  • Identify customer needs and position the appropriate offering from New Relic’s portfolio.
  • Build top-of-funnel pipeline through personal prospecting and support of centralized marketing campaigns.
  • Develop relationships with executives, influencers, and end users at multiple levels within target organizations.
  • Use New Relic’s sales process to close large-scale, multi-year, consumption-based deals.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, document sales activities in Salesforce, and report progress to sales management.
  • Partner closely with a Solutions Consultant and Sales Development Representative to drive results.
  • Research public signals such as FDA approvals, executive appointments, and press releases to identify demand triggers.
  • Work with customers throughout the sales process to support positive business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Field sales experience selling software to the F1000.
  • Proven, continuous success in enterprise sales.
  • Experience in consultative enterprise solutions selling.
  • Strong ambition, high energy, and well-developed business sense.
  • Deep and creative hunter-style sales skills.
  • Previous experience selling observability solutions is preferred.
  • Technical background is preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
