Description

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle from initial discovery through contract negotiation and close for net-new logos and selected expansion opportunities.
  • Drive proactive prospecting and demand creation across an assigned territory using outbound outreach, executive networking, industry events, and account-based marketing.
  • Manage and develop a territory by building strategic account maps, prioritizing target accounts, and executing a disciplined territory business plan.
  • Qualify opportunities and maintain forecast integrity using MEDDICC/MEDDPICC methodology.
  • Lead team-selling pursuits by coordinating Solution Consulting, Product, Customer Success, and Executive Sponsors.
  • Conduct consultative discovery sessions with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders to uncover pricing, promotion, markdown, and trade collaboration challenges.
  • Develop and deliver solution presentations, business cases, and ROI analyses tailored to prospect priorities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on inbound lead follow-up and account-based marketing for high-priority accounts.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene, accurate forecasting, and complete opportunity records in CRM.
  • Stay current on retail industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer challenges to strengthen value positioning.

Requirements

  • Experience managing the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Experience selling to large-format retailers and CPG companies across grocery, specialty, apparel, convenience, or similar segments.
  • Strong working knowledge of MEDDICC or MEDDPICC qualification methodology.
  • Experience building territory plans, strategic account maps, and pipeline coverage in an assigned territory.
  • Ability to engage C-suite and VP-level stakeholders in consultative discovery and executive selling.
  • Experience developing business cases, solution presentations, and ROI analyses.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional team-selling efforts with Solution Consulting, Product, Customer Success, and Executive Sponsors.
  • Strong CRM discipline with accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Ability to represent the company at industry conferences, trade events, and executive roundtables.
  • Familiarity with retail industry trends and competitive dynamics is preferred.
