Description

  • Lead complex data migration initiatives for Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementations, with a focus on CPQ and Billing.
  • Own the data strategy for migrating products, price books, quotes, quote line items, contracts, subscriptions, amendments, and invoice records.
  • Develop migration blueprints for Salesforce CPQ and Billing data models, including multi-currency, multi-org, and tax configuration considerations.
  • Define and document end-to-end data architecture, field mappings, and transformation logic across legacy systems and Salesforce.
  • Design flexible and reusable migration frameworks to support ongoing delta or phased loads across environments.
  • Build and execute SQL-based data extraction and transformation scripts using Microsoft SQL Server, DBAmp, or equivalent tools.
  • Perform iterative test loads to sandboxes and production environments and reconcile results with legacy systems.
  • Validate bundle integrity, pricing calculations, and downstream impacts on revenue recognition and reporting.
  • Conduct migration discovery sessions and workshops with customers to refine scope and identify risks.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Solution Architects, RevOps leaders, developers, and QA teams to maintain data integrity throughout the quote-to-cash lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture and migration with a focus on revenue operations and quote-to-cash processes.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Revenue Cloud, specifically Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
  • Experience migrating product catalogs, quotes, quote line items, contracts, subscriptions, billing transactions, credit memos, payments, and amendments.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, CTEs, window functions, and transformations.
  • Experience using tools such as DBAmp, Dataloader, and Pentaho.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external ERP and billing platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Zuora, and Intacct.
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist and Platform Developer II certifications are required.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications such as Admin, App Builder, and Platform Developer I are preferred.
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition rules and compliance considerations is preferred.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and LucidChart is preferred.
  • Experience with complex orgs including multi-currency, multi-language, and multi-entity setups is preferred.
  • Background in Revenue Operations or finance system architecture is a strong plus.
