Description

  • Assist in planning, designing, and executing SOA backend platforms, with a focus on REST-based web frameworks using Java.
  • Develop high-level and low-level designs for highly scalable components.
  • Track defects, triage bugs with business owners and users, and manage the backlog.
  • Handle non-functional requirements such as scale, high availability, performance, and security.
  • Support build, deployment, and DevOps-related work on AWS.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and maintain professional networks with subject matter experts.
  • Assist key technical advisors in defining the project roadmap.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience and proficiency in Java/J2EE.
  • Experience in SOA, multitenant platforms, or SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or a similar cloud environment.
  • Experience with a scripting language for automated builds and deployments is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience coding, fixing, executing, and versioning existing application code.
  • Ability to think beyond defined tasks and take on larger responsibilities.
  • Interest in solving real-time fundamental problems and learning new technologies out of scope.
