Description

  • Drive complex initiatives across VPC, adjacent cloud services, and infrastructure layers.
  • Turn broad product and technical objectives into executable programs with clear outcomes and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify dependencies, trade-offs, risks, and critical paths across multiple engineering teams.
  • Coordinate delivery through validation, rollout, and operational readiness.
  • Work closely with developers, engineering managers, technical leads, and product managers.
  • Support launches of VPC in new regions and new hardware generations.
  • Help improve platform scalability, resilience, and service architecture.
  • Deliver new customer-facing networking capabilities.
  • Facilitate timely technical decisions and produce concise, actionable documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, technical project management, engineering management, or a senior technical role delivering complex cross-team initiatives.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to discuss cloud networking and distributed systems meaningfully.
  • Practical knowledge of networking fundamentals including IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, routing, network isolation, NAT, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and facilitate decisions.
  • Proven experience coordinating initiatives involving multiple engineering teams with different priorities and dependencies.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, identify critical paths, manage risks, and adapt plans as requirements change.
  • A practical, outcome-oriented approach with the ability to drive progress without formal authority.
  • Experience building or operating public-cloud or other large-scale infrastructure (preferred).
  • Experience with VPCs, SDN, network virtualization, or Linux networking (preferred).
  • Experience leading programs focused on reliability, scalability, or operational improvement (preferred).
  • Experience designing lightweight planning, risk-management, or operational-readiness processes for engineering organizations (preferred).
