Description

  • Serve as the external technical executive face of Nebius for Retail & Commerce AI customers, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Partner with sales leadership to support and close strategic lighthouse deals through architectural workshops and roadmap alignment.
  • Translate customer needs into scalable technical and product requirements for product, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
  • Create technical narratives, reference architectures, and training materials to enable field sales engineers and sellers.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and GTM teams.
  • Provide architectural guidance to help customers maximize value from Nebius services and support end-to-end agentic workflows.
  • Identify recurring customer pain points across retail and commerce AI use cases and influence roadmap decisions.
  • Work with ecosystem vendors to identify integration opportunities and evaluate potential technical M&A targets.
  • Maintain structured internal feedback loops so customer learnings are tracked and acted upon by R&D.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or distributed systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI, Data Science, ML, MLOps, and complex integrations, with exposure to production or large-scale systems.
  • Prior experience in a senior technical leadership role such as CTO, technical co-founder, Field CTO, Head of Machine Learning, or Head of Engineering.
  • Ability to explain distributed system architecture to engineers and communicate business value to executive stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with sales teams to close large enterprise deals and enable field teams with technical assets.
  • Experience defining product or platform strategy based on market feedback.
  • Strong hands-on understanding of GPU-centric infrastructure, high-performance compute, storage systems, and networking.
  • Experience with Retail & Commerce AI workflows, including agentic commerce, omnichannel Gen AI, product discovery and recommendation, supply chain optimization, training pipelines, and deployment constraints.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence product teams and leadership with clarity and credibility.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments such as hyperscalers, cloud platforms, or advanced AI startups.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20–30% for customer visits, partner engagements, and industry events.
