Description

  • Collaborate with the development team to embed testing and quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Define and implement structured testing practices, including automated and manual testing strategies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using Python and Pytest.
  • Build and maintain automated front-end, backend, and API test frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Chai.
  • Perform functional, non-functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Integrate test processes into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
  • Optimize testing approaches for scalability, speed, and efficiency.
  • Support other technical leaders in project execution and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with client teams on delivery and quality objectives.
  • Mentor team members on testing approaches, automation practices, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Significant experience delivering at Lead or Staff Engineer level, with typically at least 8 years of commercial experience.
  • Experience leading test planning and quality strategy across features and releases with comprehensive test coverage.
  • Experience working autonomously within an Agile development squad.
  • Practical experience delivering in an Agile environment.
  • Experience developing automation testing frameworks for scalable software solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Mocha, and Chai.
  • Deep knowledge of Python and Pytest.
  • Strong understanding of version control tools such as Git.
  • Practical experience working with databases and cloud environments.
  • Experience creating test strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience defining and executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
