Description

  • Provide technical support for Natera’s Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and cloud-based data analytics platform.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and perform root cause analysis of product and environment issues using logs, reproduction, and system instrumentation.
  • Track, document, and follow up on all actions taken to resolve production issues.
  • Work with internal users or customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of support requests.
  • Analyze research requests and write manifests for cloud pipelines to fulfill them.
  • Make pipeline results available to researchers.
  • Develop and document best practices and reliable processes for handling recurring requests.
  • Identify and codify frequent solutions as documented and scripted processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Handle protected health information (PHI) in both paper and electronic forms as part of the role.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a similar discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Java and the Spring framework required.
  • Experience with relational databases, especially MySQL, is essential.
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, especially for problem solving under pressure.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Experience with Groovy scripting language is a plus.
  • Experience with Python and web services is a plus.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and/or weekends.
  • Ability to work in an office setting and use a computer keyboard, telephone, and printed materials.
