Description

  • Perform remote monitoring and diagnostics of power generation equipment, including HRSGs, gas and steam turbines, and compressors.
  • Analyze and interpret P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and instrumentation datasheets to verify proper operation and safety.
  • Monitor and manage Balance of Plant (BOP) systems to support optimal plant performance.
  • Prepare detailed performance reports, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with on-site teams to resolve technical issues and optimize plant operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of monitoring activities and diagnostic results.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders about issues and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in remote monitoring and diagnostics of power generation equipment.
  • Strong experience with P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and instrumentation datasheets.
  • Proficiency in Balance of Plant (BOP) systems and their components.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Proficient in Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently as a desk engineer in a remote environment.
  • Experience in Combined Cycle Plants and control room operations is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical information clearly are preferred.
