Description

  • Own and maintain the reporting data pipeline and business logic to ensure data quality.
  • Diagnose KPI changes and help identify the drivers behind metric movement.
  • Perform deep-dive analytics on ad hoc stakeholder requests across the organization.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that drive actionable insights.
  • Architect data models that support data democratization and curated reporting zones.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to deliver projects that unlock data for the BI team.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to marketing and product business analytics teams and other core business functions.
  • Ensure BI infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and efficient.
  • Create clear analysis and recommendations for business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in BI Engineering, Analytics Engineering, business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering.
  • Advanced to expert-level SQL skills.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for analytics.
  • Experience building data warehouses and modeling data through ETL pipelines using tools such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product and Data Engineering.
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related technology field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: experience building AI-ready data models and semantic layers, with familiarity using data cataloging tools such as Secoda.
  • Preferred: experience in consumer-facing app environments, including subscription/DTC mobile or web products, with knowledge of acquisition, retention, and engagement metrics.
