Description

  • Own and maintain shelter, breeder, and sales reporting, dashboards, and performance analyses.
  • Build and maintain compensation models for shelter, breeder, and sales programs.
  • Support Bordereaux, MCAS, and NAPHIA regulatory reporting, analyses, and submissions.
  • Develop and maintain SSAS Tabular models, enterprise data models, and scalable BI solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline semantic code, recurring reporting, data quality, and data availability.
  • Deliver ad hoc analytics requests for cross-functional business partners.
  • Support BI-led AI initiatives and company-wide AI enablement.
  • Partner with business intelligence, data engineering, compliance, and business teams on data governance, automation, and performance tuning.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including procedures, views, scheduled jobs, and data manipulation.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, or a similar BI tool.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with insurance or enterprise data is preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Gemini is preferred.
  • Experience building and maintaining SSAS Tabular models is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.

  • Full-time salary of $70,000–$75,000 plus eligibility for company bonus plans.
  • Remote work across the U.S.; hybrid schedule of 1–2 days per week preferred for New York City-area candidates.
