Description

  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles, write job descriptions, and build structured interview processes.
  • Own the full-cycle recruiting pipeline, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and closing candidates.
  • Build and refine interview scorecards and consistent evaluation criteria across teams.
  • Manage relationships with external recruiters and job platforms as needed.
  • Design and continuously improve an engaging new hire onboarding experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics across teams to help new employees ramp quickly and feel welcomed.
  • Build and manage semi-annual or quarterly performance review cycles.
  • Train managers on giving effective feedback, conducting reviews, and supporting performance improvement plans.
  • Establish goal-setting frameworks such as OKRs in partnership with leadership.
  • Champion company culture through engagement surveys, recognition programs, team rituals, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain employee records, compliance documentation, and HR systems.
  • Manage benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee handbook updates.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of HR management experience, ideally in a startup, scale-up, or fast-paced SMB environment.
  • Demonstrated experience owning hiring processes end-to-end, not just supporting them.
  • Track record of building or improving HR programs from the ground up.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be approachable, trustworthy, and direct.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and not relying on a perfect playbook.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms, ATS tools, and basic compliance requirements.
  • Experience in healthcare, tech, or regulated industries is preferred.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Experience supporting a remote or hybrid workforce is preferred.
  • Comfort using data and metrics to tell the story of HR programs is preferred.
