Description

  • Design a continuous performance management methodology built on the existing ABC framework.
  • Define the three evaluation axes, their weights, scales, and thresholds for movement between A, B, and C.
  • Map the data sources for each axis, including automated signals and manager or peer input.
  • Design the monthly performance cycle, including automation, manager confirmation, and individual grade visibility.
  • Create dashboards for employees, managers, and C-level leadership.
  • Develop clear development tracks and individual plans for B and C performers, including measurable criteria and timelines.
  • Run a pilot on two competencies, gather feedback, refine the approach, and roll it out across the full team.
  • Own the outcome of the system design and launch, while engineering and AI resources handle implementation.

Requirements

  • Built performance systems for teams of 30 to 150 people, ideally in late Seed or Series A product startups.
  • Understands how performance management differs in a tiny team versus a traditional company.
  • Comfortable working with data in Excel, SQL, and Notion API.
  • Able to build prototypes independently rather than relying on an analyst.
  • Experience with grading systems, talent review, 9-box frameworks, or similar is a plus.
  • Experience turning a manual Excel process into an automated workflow is a strong plus.
  • Working English is required.
  • Russian is nice to have but not required.
  • Able to provide a short note with 1 or 2 relevant cases, plus participate in a 60-minute HRD call, a test task, and a final CEO + HRD interview.
