Description

Serve as a subject matter expert on Time & Attendance matters and support complex projects and employment law change implementation.
Manage employee lifecycle leave and working hours cases, including family leave, sick leave, time tracking, public holidays, and working time matters.
Advise clients and employees on employment legislation, employment agreements, and labor law interpretations.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies to ensure compliance.
Support HR and financial audits and help manage critical initiatives affecting employees across multiple countries.
Develop, update, and maintain global internal documentation related to Time & Attendance and legislative changes.
Respond to internal and external inquiries on employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle stakeholders.
Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and better customer and employee experiences.
Safely manage employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Promote Remote’s values and contribute to the goals of the Lifecycle team.

Requirements

Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
Ability to lead difficult conversations professionally and confidentially to positive outcomes.
Advanced business-level written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
Experience optimizing processes and identifying opportunities for automation and best practices.
Strong operational efficiency, with attention to documentation and data integrity.
Tech-savvy and able to collaborate asynchronously using evolving tools and systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international, remote environment with multiple priorities.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite for communication, documentation, and project management.
Enthusiasm for AI with a foundational understanding of its practical applications in operations and automation.
Preferred: experience managing long-term sick leave or extended absence cases end-to-end, including eligibility, documentation, pay, benefits impacts, and stakeholder coordination.
