Description

  • Serve as the primary project manager for multiple high-stakes campaigns across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design, implement, and manage detailed campaign plans and timelines.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and drive proactive follow-up to keep work on track.
  • Act as the key operational contact for external partners and manage inbound inquiries and communication flow.
  • Provide strategic support and counsel to a wide range of stakeholders, including grassroots advocates and senior organizational leaders.
  • Build and maintain project management tools and templates that improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks and roadblocks that could affect timelines or outcomes.
  • Track project health and provide regular status updates to leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-functional retrospectives and post-campaign analysis to capture lessons learned.
  • Manage budget tracking and vendor contracts.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional experience, including 3 years managing complex projects.
  • Experience in civic tech, political, advocacy, or campaign environments preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage up, adapt to shifting priorities, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort structuring ambiguous or undefined work streams.
  • Strong written communication skills for diverse internal and external audiences, including campaign messaging and reporting.
  • Experience leading high-stakes meetings with confidence and clarity.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve project efficiency.
  • Strong speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience with CRMs and advocacy platforms such as Salesforce, EveryAction, or Action Network preferred.
  • Experience managing digital-first projects such as digital organizing, online fundraising, or website/app launches preferred.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security best practices related to voter or donor data preferred.
  • Basic understanding of campaign compliance requirements for entities such as 501c3, 501c4, PAC, and 527 preferred.
  • Comfort working with remote or distributed teams preferred.
