Description

  • Maintain accurate gift-tracking and reporting processes in coordination with external partners such as a fiscal sponsor.
  • Enter, update, and verify donor and fundraising data, including call notes, donations, and pledges.
  • Track grant agreements and reporting timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Pull and edit CRM lists to support outreach, major donor briefings, and reporting needs.
  • Draft grant reports by compiling program updates, impact data, and other required materials for funders.
  • Research prospects and prepare briefing materials for principal call time in coordination with call time managers.
  • Conduct ad hoc prospect research as needed.
  • Manage projects that improve team effectiveness and keep routine processes running with quality.
  • Run automated workflows that support daily fundraising work, including donor identification and briefing generation.
  • Produce and interpret reports to assess the effectiveness of fundraising tactics.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a fundraising, development, or grants environment for the Associate role, or 3+ years for the Senior Associate role.
  • 1+ year of CRM experience such as EveryAction for the Associate role, or 2+ years for the Senior Associate role.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in written communications, data entry, and spreadsheet work.
  • Comfort learning and using unfamiliar software quickly and enthusiastically.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for day-to-day tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple ad hoc requests.
  • Ability to manage projects and influence stakeholders laterally and upward.
  • Interest in progressive politics, advocacy, or electoral work.
  • Experience with prospect research or list-building tools is preferred.
  • Understanding of 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and PAC funding distinctions is preferred.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Benefits

  • Annual salary of $60,000-$70,000 for Associate Level 1 or $70,000-$80,000 for Senior Associate Level 2.
  • $5,000 end-of-cycle bonus.
  • $700/month pre-tax worklife stipend during the highest-intensity work period, starting August 1 and prorated for partial months.
