Description

  • Drive program planning and execution by defining scope, milestones, success criteria, and delivery tracking with SRE leaders and engineers.
  • Manage dependencies across platform teams and keep work organized and tracked in Jira.
  • Lead change management and launch readiness programs to strengthen production reliability.
  • Partner with SRE and product teams to define and operationalize SLOs and SLIs.
  • Use incident data, metrics, and capacity signals to prioritize work and support continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Security, Compliance, Cloud platform, and other engineering teams.
  • Support and coordinate cross-team incident response and ensure clear follow-through on complex multi-team efforts.
  • Design lightweight frameworks and communication patterns that help SRE operate reliably at scale.
  • Build processes that enable teams to execute independently and reduce reliance on hero-driven work.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering management, or a comparable technical role partnering with software engineering teams.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-team platform initiatives through ambiguity and change.
  • Strong knowledge of production change management, software development lifecycle, and reliability metrics such as SLOs and SLIs.
  • Experience shaping roadmaps and managing dependencies.
  • Ability to query and interpret metrics, logs, or other data sources to inform decisions and communicate risk.
  • Excellent communication skills across engineers, cross-functional partners, and executives.
  • Low-ego, highly collaborative approach with ownership of hard problems end to end.
  • Hands-on or close-partner experience with Kubernetes, cloud networking, or observability stacks including metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting (nice to have).
  • Prior experience working with or alongside SRE teams (nice to have).
  • Background in large-scale cloud infrastructure or platform engineering (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas or other modern cloud database platforms (nice to have).
