Description

  • Own the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional Application Modernization initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Product Design, and field-facing teams to execute against product vision and business objectives.
  • Uncover and help resolve technical challenges by working closely with technical stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and summarize trade-offs, outcomes, and next steps.
  • Coordinate across multiple independent work streams and organizations to keep programs on track.
  • Develop a strategic program management approach that balances direct oversight with process-driven execution.
  • Build strategic partnerships across Product, Design, and Engineering.
  • Drive engineering programs forward and maximize business value delivery.
  • Influence improvements to tools, operations, architecture, and program management frameworks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience, preferably with Java web services and relational data modeling/SQL.
  • Experience with tools and methodologies for code analysis, refactoring, and automated testing.
  • Ability to break down engineering challenges and deliver against abstract goals with technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills for working across diverse engineers and stakeholders.
  • Deep user empathy and ability to balance product goals with engineering constraints.
  • Highly organized with experience coordinating multiple work streams and organizations.
  • Experience with project tracking software; JIRA is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB or a comparable technology.
  • Exposure to generative AI and machine learning.
  • Interest in business automation work such as scripting in Python, Google Apps Script, and Slack.
  • Remote candidates must be based in the Eastern or Central time zones.

  • Base salary range of $144,000 to $248,000 USD for U.S.-based candidates.
