Description

  • Collaborate on integration and testing strategies to support mission autonomy project objectives.
  • Coordinate all aspects of test activities, including personnel, equipment, datalinks, test facilities, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee test and integration efforts at the system and subsystem levels.
  • Write and maintain test plans, test procedures, test cards, and test reports.
  • Work across departments to plan and execute test events successfully.
  • Participate in requirements development and design reviews with engineering teams.
  • Support safety review boards and test readiness reviews.
  • Lead or contribute to root cause analysis efforts and initiatives.
  • Create and maintain system documentation such as manuals, checklists, and acceptance procedures.
  • Track project and test progress, manage schedules and resource constraints, and coordinate with program leadership and government personnel.
  • Execute hardware and software testing when needed, including stationary and dynamic vehicle testing and technical test reviews.
  • Establish safe operational procedures and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • 7+ years of test engineering experience.
  • Previous experience in software development and autonomous vehicle testing.
  • Working knowledge of DoD test range regulations, spectrum compliance, and DoD acquisition organizations.
  • Ability to quickly understand new concepts, organize work phases, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.
  • Experience with agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, GHE, and CircleCI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience as a test director or test conductor.
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line data extraction tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including on complex engineering tasks.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior experience leading a team.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Ability to work extended hours as required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
