Description

  • Serve as a key member of the security product management team focused on account protection and customer trust.
  • Develop a vision for best-in-class security and identity threat management from identification through remediation.
  • Define security features that identify, mitigate, and proactively prevent unauthorized access to data.
  • Partner with engineering to create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap and backlog.
  • Build a deep understanding of the business to ensure security outcomes align with product, customer, and company goals.
  • Track evolving threats and data security technologies and incorporate customer input into new innovations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, research, product marketing, support, sales, and security teams to deepen customer trust.
  • Define and implement KPIs and success metrics for security initiatives aligned with business and product goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management or equivalent experience in enterprise security or platforms.
  • Experience working with security-focused engineers in a diverse team.
  • Domain expertise in threat detection, data security, or a related field.
  • Experience driving business results through influential leadership across engineering, sales, marketing, solution architects, and customer success teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to define and deliver successful product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Experience translating technical product requirements into an actionable product roadmap.
  • Understanding of public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Comfort with stage presence and public speaking.
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or SANS are preferred.
  • Community involvement such as conference or meetup panels, blog writing, or paper authorship is preferred.
  • MBA, M.Sc., or equivalent in a relevant domain is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $130,000–$180,000 CAD for candidates based in Canada.
