Description

  • Own brokerage products tailored for the Saudi and GCC markets, including equities, Sukuk, ETFs, and derivatives.
  • Drive brokerage product strategy by analyzing ROI, regional competition, regulatory requirements, and build-vs-buy decisions.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap with a focus on CMA-compliant features, Sharia-compliant solutions, and regional market needs.
  • Write product requirements and partner with engineers to deliver programs that meet local regulatory and market standards.
  • Lead customer calls on brokerage process and product issues and translate feedback into product improvements.
  • Engage with the CMA, Tadawul, Edaa, and other regional regulators to support product strategy and regulatory alignment.
  • Report product status and results accurately and on time to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Improve brokerage operations efficiency by owning metrics and proposing solutions for settlement, custody, and clearing workflows.
  • Collaborate with local operations teams to ensure seamless integration between Alpaca’s global platform and KSA/GCC market infrastructure.
  • Support ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or an equivalent field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, and/or startup experience, preferably in financial services or fintech.
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in brokerage, capital markets, or fintech within the Saudi or GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of the CMA regulatory framework, Tadawul market structure, and GCC capital markets landscape.
  • Experience analyzing data using SQL and a relevant BI tool.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and business acumen to balance stakeholder tradeoffs with technical feasibility, time, and budget constraints.
  • Experience and background developing brokerage products in the Saudi or GCC markets (preferred).
  • Technical background working with APIs, particularly in financial services or trading platforms (preferred).
  • CME-1 or other CMA-recognized professional certifications (preferred).
  • Experience with Qualified Foreign Investor (QFI) programs or cross-border investment products (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Sharia-compliant product structures and Islamic finance principles (preferred).
  • Experience working at a fintech, startup, or CMA-authorized institution (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Saudi Vision 2030 financial sector development initiatives (preferred).
