Description

  • Contribute to customer implementations across the full application lifecycle, including assessment, planning, design, deployment, testing, operations, and optimization.
  • Deliver classroom-based training for architects, developers, and operations teams.
  • Work alongside consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to guide customers and represent MongoDB in client engagements.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap.
  • Communicate complex technical proposals clearly to varied audiences.
  • Maintain the required level of billable utilization.
  • Share field experience to help improve MongoDB products, services, and team practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development, consulting, or support experience, preferably across multiple industries or verticals.
  • Competence in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, or Go.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations.
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence speaking and presenting in a collaborative customer setting.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently for short trips to customer sites during the working week, up to 15%.
  • Experience working with Public Sector customers.
  • Based remotely in Great Britain.
