Description

  • Manage a book of business worth several million dollars, with responsibility for account growth and retention.
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities across an active pipeline.
  • Prospect into CTOs, engineering and IT leaders, and developers in the assigned territory.
  • Become a product expert across MongoDB’s platform and offerings.
  • Build strong customer relationships that create growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Solution Architects and Professional Services to support customer success and satisfaction.
  • Manage time effectively across prospecting, selling, and account management activities.
  • Participate in sales enablement, bootcamps, and leadership development programs.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of field experience in quota-carrying sales in a fast-paced, competitive market.
  • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and generate qualified pipeline.
  • Proven track record of overachievement and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
  • Experience building business champions and influencing stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must live in the assigned territory.
  • Driven, competitive, and highly motivated to succeed.
  • Familiarity with databases, developers, and open source technology is a plus.
  • Previous sales development experience is preferred.
  • Previous sales methodology training such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales is preferred.
