Description

  • Provide technical leadership for a new team prototyping and experimenting with AI features.
  • Productionize and ship AI integrations into Modern Health’s core product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product features on time.
  • Stay current on the latest AI technologies and trends.
  • Build and implement AI-powered products using LLMs, embeddings, and related ML/AI technologies.
  • Work across the full stack from user experience to data models.
  • Partner closely with product and design to create high-quality user interfaces.
  • Mentor other engineers and help set teams up for long-term success.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience building and prototyping products from the ground up.
  • Strong full-stack experience, from user experience to data models.
  • Experience with RDS, ideally Postgres.
  • Experience shipping quality user interfaces, ideally with React and React Native.
  • Ability to think critically, navigate ambiguity, and consider business impact.
  • Strong written and real-time communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and lead large projects.
  • Bonus points for GenAI production experience, including LLMs, inference, and embeddings.
  • Bonus points for ML experience, including data engineering, model development, or MLOps.
  • Bonus points for proficiency with Python/Django, React/React Native/TypeScript, Docker, Postgres, or AWS.
  • Bonus points for experience in a high-growth SaaS and/or Health Tech startup environment.
  • This position is not eligible to be performed in Hawaii.
