Description

Define and influence the technical strategy for logging integrations while remaining hands-on in the codebase.
Design, build, and optimize scalable data integration services and tools that handle massive throughput.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Principal Engineers, and cross-functional partners to turn ambiguous needs into technical roadmaps.
Lead by example through strong code reviews, detailed design docs, and engineering best practices.
Mentor engineers across levels through coaching, tech talks, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
Pair program with engineers and help solve architecture challenges and production performance bottlenecks.
Contribute to or lead front-end initiatives when needed to support end-to-end user experience.
Use observability and SRE practices to identify and resolve reliability, latency, and performance issues proactively.

Requirements

8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Highly proficient in Java and Go with a track record of delivering production-grade code.
Deep understanding of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience leading the design and delivery of reliable, scalable distributed systems.
Meaningful full-stack experience, including delivery or ownership of front-end projects.
Deep expertise in SRE and observability tools for distributed environments.
Ability to drive consensus and influence technical direction through clear communication and technical justification.
Preferred: active contributor to Fluent Bit, Fluentd, or OpenTelemetry ecosystems.
Preferred: hands-on experience with Helm, Kubernetes Operators, or cloud-native logging drivers such as AWS FireLens.
Preferred: experience with data integration or ingestion products in the SaaS vendor or telemetry space.
Preferred: experience building real-time tools to collect, process, and ship log data at petabyte scale.
