Description

  • Own and coordinate onboarding from offer acceptance through the first 90 days of employment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during onboarding and orientation.
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules, orientation sessions, documentation, and first-day logistics across departments.
  • Partner with Learning & Development, IT, Operations, Payroll, and firm leadership to ensure onboarding readiness, system access, equipment coordination, and support.
  • Manage offboarding from notice through final separation, including documentation, system access removal, and equipment return.
  • Conduct and track exit interviews and stay interviews, identify trends, and support process improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve onboarding and offboarding SOPs, workflows, tracking tools, and related resources.
  • Maintain organized records, dashboards, reporting visibility, and documentation for onboarding, offboarding, and employee transitions.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Support onboarding-related training materials, internal employee transitions, organizational changes, and other People & Culture initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in onboarding, offboarding, employee experience, HR coordination, People Operations, or a closely related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Humanities, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in a legal, professional services, or rapidly growing multi-state organization preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, and Zoom.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, onboarding systems, electronic personnel records, or similar systems.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely from home with a reliable internet connection and a workstation suitable for normal business hours.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or adjusted hours as needed to support onboarding and offboarding needs.

  • Salary range of $85,000-$105,000 for California/Washington, with pay adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors.
