Description

  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers to develop and execute strategic outreach plans for target accounts.
  • Conduct detailed account research to identify decision-makers and tailor outreach messaging.
  • Drive outbound prospecting through email, phone, and LinkedIn to secure meetings.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and events.
  • Schedule product demos and meetings for the Life Sciences net new logo sales team.
  • Stay current on Model N’s solutions, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in Salesforce.
  • Meet or exceed activity metrics and pipeline generation goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven success in outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead qualification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an engaging phone presence.
  • Demonstrated experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or Gemini to improve productivity, decision-making, or problem solving.
  • Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Salesloft, Drift, and other sales tools, including leveraging AI capabilities to deliver results at scale.
  • SaaS selling experience is required.
  • Life Sciences industry exposure is a plus.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; military experience is welcome.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% for client meetings, company events, and trainings.
