Description

  • Support all aspects of the REMIS software development process for a web-based equipment maintenance data system.
  • Ensure software development follows Agile methodologies, test-driven development principles, robust documentation, user-centered design, and extensible infrastructure.
  • Maintain application software and COTS software.
  • Design, code, test, and deploy software solutions.
  • Perform quality assurance, software configuration management, and program documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support team processes.
  • Troubleshoot and implement business logic and data access code for complex web application architectures.
  • Create automated test cases and support test automation framework development.
  • Respond to last-minute requests while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
  • Work within a military framework and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience analyzing, designing, troubleshooting, and implementing business logic and data access code for complex web application architectures.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience creating automated test cases for complex web applications.
  • Expert-level experience in several of the following: HTML, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, Angular, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Selenium WebDriver, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Apache, RedHat, Amazon Linux, Windows 10+, AWS microservices, Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
  • Experience or familiarity with microservices, JMeter, Checkmarx, SonarQube, and TIBCO JasperReports.
  • Experience with Spring, especially Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills within a military framework.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy, and consistent follow-through.
  • Ability to perform 40 hours of annual security training.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must have a current DoD successfully adjudicated T3 investigation with closure dates less than 5 years old.

Benefits

  • Pay rate of $50.48-$55.28 per hour during the initial six-month term.
  • Conversion salary of $115,000-$125,000 upon conversion.
  • Completely remote work arrangement.
