Description

  • Evolve and improve software for Mitek’s products and services.
  • Build and maintain front-end applications using Vanilla JavaScript and React.
  • Develop back-end functionality in Golang.
  • Write unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and production-hardened code.
  • Work with cloud services and infrastructure-as-code tooling to support deployments.
  • Collaborate with team members using Agile practices and clear communication.
  • Contribute to solutions built for serverless or microservices-based environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant back-end programming experience.
  • Experience with Vanilla JavaScript and front-end SPA frameworks such as React.
  • Good working knowledge of Golang.
  • Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and production-hardened code.
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, SQS, ECS, EC2, and Lambda is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud provisioning using infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS and template engines such as Freemarker or Thymeleaf is preferred.
  • Experience with Redux, TypeScript, and non-relational databases such as MongoDB, DocumentDB, or RavenDB is preferred.
  • Experience with npm or similar package managers is preferred.
  • Experience with Cypress or similar front-end functional testing tools is preferred.
  • Experience developing with Docker, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, and distributed systems using serverless or microservices architecture is preferred.
  • Experience with Bash scripting and Java, Groovy, or Python is preferred.
  • Experience using Agile methodologies and practices is preferred.
