Description

  • Build and deploy batch and real-time data pipelines to support analytics and GenAI use cases.
  • Design and maintain data infrastructure for extracting, transforming, loading, and retrieving data from multiple sources.
  • Develop document ingestion, indexing, and retrieval workflows for scalable RAG solutions.
  • Integrate external databases, APIs, and knowledge graphs into GenAI and retrieval systems.
  • Work with cloud services and infrastructure tools to support data processing and machine learning workloads.
  • Implement testing, deployment automation, DevOps/SysOps practices, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams and communicate technical work to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain internal APIs, dashboards, and data visualization interfaces where needed.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, security, and scalability, and optimize infrastructure accordingly.
  • Conduct experiments to evaluate RAG workflows and iterate on results to improve performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Experience with Snowflake, NoSQL, and Neo4j.
  • Experience with Apache Airflow and Airflow DAGs.
  • Familiarity with AWS or GCP services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, SageMaker, Vertex AI, BigQuery, GKE, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Linux, GitHub, and VS Code.
  • Hands-on experience with Hadoop and Spark.
  • Proficiency with Streamlit and dashboard development.
  • Experience building and maintaining internal APIs.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and familiarity with generative AI tools and techniques.
  • Experience with knowledge graphs, vector databases, and information retrieval systems such as FAISS, Pinecone, Elasticsearch, or Milvus.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience managing unstructured data such as audio, video, image, and text.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and scalable infrastructure design.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with graph algorithms, LLMs, optimization algorithms, relational databases, and diverse data formats.
  • Experience building ontologies, schema-level constructs, and working with Open Cypher.
  • Experience in curating data from traditional and non-traditional sources.
  • Preferred experience with AutoSys, CronJobs, AWS OpenSearch, and other advanced cloud/data tooling.
