Description

  • Drive new business acquisition by prospecting enterprise opportunities and generating pipeline.
  • Sell MinIO’s value for data infrastructure, AI/ML, and HPC use cases through technical and business-focused conversations.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close for complex $250K+ opportunities.
  • Compete against legacy storage vendors and position cloud-native, S3-compatible object storage as the preferred alternative.
  • Build ROI models and business cases that quantify value, risk reduction, and financial impact.
  • Develop and execute partner-led co-selling strategies with channel and alliance partners.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing to deliver tailored solutions and support successful POCs.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and clear account plans.
  • Educate prospects on AI infrastructure optimization and data architecture modernization to shape buyer thinking.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience with consistent quota attainment of $1.5M+ and average deal sizes of $250K+.
  • Strong knowledge of storage, data infrastructure, data lakehouse, AI/ML, and HPC environments.
  • Experience building co-selling strategies with channel and alliance partners.
  • Proven ability to sell against legacy storage solutions and displace entrenched vendors.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environments.
  • Ability to lead transformation sales by teaching, tailoring, and challenging customer perspectives.
  • Deep territory relationships with decision makers and influencers.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • BA/BS in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
