Description

  • Design original computational physics problems that reflect real physics research workflows.
  • Create problem sets that require Python programming to solve using numerical and scientific libraries.
  • Develop computationally intensive problems that cannot be solved manually in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Build problems that require non-trivial reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
  • Base problems on real research challenges or practical physics applications.
  • Verify solutions using Python and standard physics simulation libraries.
  • Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
  • Contribute to project-based AI tasks during active phases, estimated at 10–20 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physics or a related field, such as Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational Physics.
  • Python proficiency for numerical validation.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, R, C, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, domain-specific libraries, Stata, or another programming language may be considered equivalent.
  • 2+ years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience.
  • Experience with numerical simulation methods.
  • Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows.
  • Creative thinking across diverse physics areas.
  • Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.
  • Strong written English at C1 level or higher.
  • English CV submission and English proficiency level indication are required.
