Description

  • Record hands-on household tasks in a first-person video format.
  • Capture common residential activities such as tidying rooms, washing dishes, doing laundry, and home mapping.
  • Follow strict data-collection guidelines for each recording.
  • Dedicate full attention to the task while filming.
  • Provide geographically and task-diverse recordings across residential environments.
  • Ensure videos depict intentional, useful tasks without unnecessary pauses or contrived movements.

Requirements

  • Own or use a smartphone or alternative camera device capable of at least 30 FPS and 1080p resolution.
  • Mount the device at forehead or eye level to capture an egocentric, downward-facing perspective.
  • Use the designated D&A application for all data capture and upload.
  • Produce video footage that is clear, stable, and well-lit.
  • Ensure each recording is at least 15 seconds long.
  • Capture accurate footage with strong hand visibility.
  • Be able to complete manipulation-intensive household tasks for recording.
  • Freelance contributors who can work on a project-based basis are preferred.
