Description

Design original computational physics problems that simulate real physics research workflows.
Create problems that require Python programming to solve using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and SymPy.
Develop computationally intensive problems that cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
Build problems requiring non-trivial reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
Base problem design on real research challenges or practical physics applications.
Verify solutions using Python and standard physics simulation libraries.
Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Requirements

Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or a related field.
Python proficiency for numerical validation; experience with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, domain-specific libraries, Stata, or any programming language may be considered equivalent.
2+ years of professional experience, including applied, research, or teaching experience.
Experience with numerical simulation methods.
Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows.
Creative thinking in problem design across diverse physics areas.
Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.
Strong written English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
Open to part-time, non-permanent project-based work.
Submit a CV in English and indicate English proficiency level.
