Description

  • Design original computational data science problems that simulate real-world analytical workflows across multiple industries.
  • Create Python-based problems using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, Statsmodels, Matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Develop computationally intensive problems that cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
  • Build problems that require multi-step reasoning in data processing, statistical analysis, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and insight extraction.
  • Create deterministic, reproducible problems by avoiding stochastic elements or using fixed random seeds.
  • Base tasks on real business scenarios such as customer analytics, risk assessment, fraud detection, forecasting, optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Design end-to-end data science workflows covering ingestion, cleaning, EDA, modeling, validation, and deployment considerations.
  • Incorporate big data processing scenarios that require scalable computational approaches.
  • Verify solutions using Python, standard data science libraries, and statistical methods.
  • Document problem statements clearly with realistic business context and provide verified correct answers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on data science experience with proven business impact.
  • A portfolio of completed projects and publications demonstrating real-world problem-solving.
  • Expert Python programming for data science using pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
  • Expert-level statistical analysis and machine learning knowledge, including algorithms, methods, and practical applications.
  • Expert SQL and database operations for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with GenAI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
  • Understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of modern frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
  • Strong written English at C1+ level.
  • Willingness to work on part-time, non-permanent, project-based assignments.
