Description

  • Lead one or more Workday Financials workstreams through discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Translate client requirements into scalable Workday configurations aligned with solution architecture and best practices.
  • Drive workstream deliverables, timelines, issue resolution, risk escalation, and client communications.
  • Configure and oversee Financials solutions across areas such as FDM, Core Financials, Procurement, Grants, Expenses, Banking, and Reporting.
  • Facilitate design workshops, prototype solutions, and serve as the primary day-to-day client contact.
  • Produce configuration documentation, workbooks, testing materials, and deployment plans.
  • Mentor consultants, review deliverables, provide coaching, and share implementation best practices.
  • Support pre-sales, recruiting, onboarding, practice development, and expansion of Meridian’s public sector Workday capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Workday Financials implementation experience.
  • 3+ years leading functional workstreams through multiple full-lifecycle Workday implementations.
  • Active Workday Implementer Certifications with at least two certifications; Record to Report certification preferred.
  • Strong expertise in one or more Workday areas, including FDM, Financial Accounting, Procurement, Grants, Financial Reporting, Expenses, Banking and Settlements, or Business Assets.
  • Experience facilitating client design workshops and managing functional deliverables.
  • Public sector implementation experience preferred, including state or local government, higher education, or K–12.
  • Ability to work standard East Coast hours.
  • Must reside in the United States and be eligible to work without current or future sponsorship.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%.
